My Review:

If it takes long time to boot your computer and you don’t know what’s wrong with it, then Soluto is the software you got to install. Normally, a slow startup would indicate many software or services needed to run before you arrive at your windows. Even you know how to stop some software or services from start up, you might not know which should be stopped and which shouldn’t. A wrong click might not get your windows starts and you end up with even more problems or the worst, you have to go to repair shop and pay them to fix it.

So, what can Soluto do?

Soluto will analyze your booting time and determine which software or services can and cannot be deleted. See below for a few screenshots on Soluto. (Further information and screenshots can be found at http://www.soluto.com/About/Media-Kit/)

As you can see from above, after a thoroughly analysis of your PC, it will shows you the total time taken to boot your PC and how many applications run in your boot. It comes with 3 parts which are No-brainer, Potentially removable and Required (First Screen Shot). Then you click either part and it will provide you extra options and give you some insight on what’s the application and recommendation which I think is very useful and in the same time, I will get to know better of my PC (Second Screen Shot)! And the last screen shot shows the record of your booting time.

Another point that worth noting, Soluto has an extremely interesting and cool interface, it’s the part which I like the most!

However, house specialists A-hus, power supplier Vattenfall and Volvo Cars believe that with the right know-how, the right technology and confident, consistent behaviour it is therefore might possible for the test family to approach the one-tonne target figure without departing significantly from its regular lifestyle or standard of living.

Much of the technology and the solutions the family will use are already available to the general public or will be in the near future.
