The Next Big Question Mark - ?

So, the next big question is why do I want to do a blog on software rather than hardware or any other topics which is also related to computer?

It’s undeniable that knowledge in hardware is important but in my point of view, I think we should place more weight on software rather than hardware. The main reason is, unlike software, knowledge in repairing hardware and so forth require much in-depth knowledge but as for software, although we are not required to understand the work behind the software, but since most and I believe, with some trial-and-error and guidance available with a mouse click, everyone would definitely know more about software rather than hardware.

Another thing that worth noting, a trial-and-error on software won’t caused serious damage to your computer, provided you scan through the software and make sure it’s clean from malware and safe to use but a mistake in fixing the hardware might make your hardware completely dead and what worst is the warranty of the hardware will be voided.

Again, as mentioned in previous post (http://tommykz.blogspot.com/2011/02/preface-era-of-information-technology.html) and what we can see from the candidate requirement for any jobs, computer literacy is very important, especially knowledge of using MSOffice. Different position requires different software, for example, as an architect, he or she must be able to use AutoCad, a software used for drafting, modelling, architectural drawing and etc.

Despite all the reasons, without handling the software properly, you might lose all your important files such as videos, pictures and so forth. Therefore, a friendly reminder would be, make sure you know some basic information on the software before you install and use it.

Some keynote:

My blog will briefly review some useful software that myself think are worth having it in our computer and guess what, the software that will be explained in the following post are completely FREE or so-called freeware. So, no worries!
